How to upload a presentation and what happens to it

Log into the admin Dashboard, Navigate to Set up/Manage Content

Click Manage Induction Content

Ensure the selected step is a presentation type. Uploads can be formatted as PPTX, PDF or SCORM.

Click edit content next to the step in order to do this

PDF and SCORM Files

Can be directly uploaded without the need for any conversion.

Powerpoint presentations

Powerpoint presentations require conversion and can be done so using the built in powerpoint converter within the system.

Select Choose .pptx and choose the powerpoint to upload from your device.

Once selected, continue on to configure the settings for the presentation.

The settings can either be configured as default, which will display each slide with no set timings. Otherwise advanced settings can be used to configure lockout timing per slide or auto advancing.

Once the settings have been applied preview the presentation to ensure it is displaying as expected. From here conversion can begin.

Once conversion is complete the presentation will automatically be uploaded to the induction step and can be immediately viewed. Once the presentation is converted you can choose to enhance with AI

Enhancing the presentation with AI allows for multiple interactive features to be added to the uploaded presentation.

Features such as knowledge checks, assessments and recaps can be added. These will pull from the existing information within the presentation to generate questions.

There is also an option to provide instructions to ensure it enhances as desired.

Once the desired enhancements are selected click Start

Once the enhancement is complete there is an option to preview the changes and compare the before and after for each slide. You can choose to use the enhanced slide or use the original uploaded slide. There is also an option to rebuild if you would like to change the enhancement.

To review your presentation upload once published, log in as an inductee for the matching induction type and click the relevant step to view the presentation.
